You may be wondering what a chance meeting with Vincent Simone in London has to do with drinks machines or our blog. Well the loose connection is Flavia, not only is she a talented dancer and ex-partner of Vincent’s, Flavia is also the name of one of our best selling drinks machines offering quality hot drinks from coffee and tea to cappuccino and Galaxy hot chocolate.

I have to be honest I am not a great fan of Strictly Come Dancing but my wife certainly is and I recently took her to London for the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We stayed at the May Fair Hotel and when returning to the hotel following a romantic dinner for two, none other than Vincent Simone joined us in the lift. There were a few other people in the lift and one Lady in particular was so star struck that she could hardly speak!

Vincent seemed like a very nice person in the short time we were in his company and I mean no disrespect to him, but personally I would much rather have a brief encounter in a lift with Flavia Cacace! as this is very unlikely I would settle for a great cup of coffee from the Flavia Creation 400 machine.

P.S. please do not mention this part to my wife as I may not make it to my next anniversary!
