Nestle the manufacturer of Kit Kat, recently launched four new variants of the popular Kit Kat Chunky; they were White Choc, Orange, Double Choc and Peanut Butter.
The aim was to see which variety the public preferred and they were asked to vote for their favourite, the one with the most public votes would stay in production. The winner and the nations favourite was Peanut Butter, 255,063 people voted for this variant which equates to 43% of the votes.
What a great way to sell more product and Kit Kat Chunky sales are up 10% YOY. (AC Nielsen Total Market YTD Dec 2010)
