Wow, displaced Polar Vortex, Snow Bombs, Blizzards, Polar Gales……it’s all in the weather report below! How about some Sudden Stratospheric Warming (SSW) to add to our problems, with predictions that before October is over snow could be affecting parts of the UK. Last winters “Beast from the East” was apparently caused by SSW and the same is predicted for this season. Wild swings in the Jet stream could lead to intense and sudden snowfall, now attracting the description of Snow Bombs!!
