Its true, if you have your Flavia Filterpacks collected via the Waste-2-Energy scheme that has been set up in association with Save a cup, they are taken to a plant to be recycled into energy which is fed back into the national grid and in turn could provide the electricity to power your drinks machine.
By being part of the scheme not only do you contribute to meeting your environmental targets but if all Flavia packs were treated in this way, enough power would be generated to light 10,000 homes for an entire year!
