FLAVIA ® have launched the first UK-made environmentally friendly compostable paper
cup, unlike traditional paper cups that have oil based lining the new N-viro cup has a PLA bio based lining derived from corn, which means the cup is made from fully sustainable resources and can be composted through the Save a cup scheme.
When N-viro cups are collected via the SAVE A CUP scheme they are sent to industrial composting facilities and mixed with other green waste to make quality compost to be used in Horticulture and Farming.
This is another example of a Flavia initiative aimed at people that want to fulfil their green credentials and satisfy corporate recycling policies.
